This past weekend we removed the brittle nail polish from her overgrown toenails, clipped best we could and repainted.

Her eyes rarely focus in now; one eye drifts to a corner. I don't say anything.

This Friday will mark two weeks since she came home on a stretcher. Today we are at two weeks since she has had solids.
